life is beautiful.

More and more these days, even the thought of abortion makes me sick inside. How have we fallen so far from God as a nation and as a people to even think that it’s okay – to take the life of an innocent human being. Yes, a human being. It’s such a sickening thought to me. And as Christians, we should be disgusted. Our hearts should break over the things that break God’s heart.

Life is beautiful, my friends. I think that most people alive today can say that honestly with much confidence. Life is genuinely a beautiful thing to experience. Think of everything you have experienced good and bad. Think of the people you have met, the things you have done, the hard times and the easy times, the places you’ve been, the food you’ve tasted, and hours of laughter you’ve laughed. Think of it all. Life is truly beautiful. Even more so when you have the Lord, because there is so much joy knowing that you are saved from every sin you’ve committed and will commit in the future. Oh the joy of being a redeemed child of the God of the Universe. Ah. It gives me goosebumps just thinking about.

Now that you’ve thought about how the concept of life really is a beautiful thing to behold, think of the millions of lives that are being terminated before they even experience those wonderful moments that life offers. Jeremiah 29:11 tells us that God has a plan for each of us. How cool is that!? And you know what friend? God had a beautiful plan for every one of those aborted babies, human beings. Yet because of sin and the pride of man, those precious lives will never experience that perfect plan that the God of Universe had in mind for them. This saddens me to no end.

The world’s argument every time, however, is that it’s the woman’s right because it’s her body. Biologically, her body is holding another body and that little body is a sweet human with a purpose in this world. Furthermore, that little human, boy or girl, has the right to life. So at this point, we need to put aside “women’s rights” and respect the life that is miraculously growing inside the woman. I understand that in the case of rape/sexual assault that this is hard to receive. If you are that person, I am so sorry and please know that the Lord brings healing. However, God has provided the beautiful process of adoption. There is never a good excuse for murder. Don’t give in to what society will tell you.

Friend, I say all of this with so much love. Life is beautiful. And if you truly believe that statement, then don’t support the murder of innocent, un-born lives. The Lord has a beautiful plan and purpose for their lives. Don’t interfere. Leave all in the hands of the Savior Who knows best.
