Heaven. Come sooner.
Do you ever wish that you could be in Heaven right now? I do. More so than usual. No more pain, no more tears, no more sorrow; what a promise.
But do you also ever wish that you could be on earth a little bit longer? Because there are things you want to accomplish in life? I do that too.
The point is, be content with where God has you. So often, I get caught up in the stress of life that I wish the Rapture would just happen right now. Boom. Bang. Zap. Gone. But then sometimes, life is going great and I want to stay on earth longer so that I can get married, have a family, and accomplish all those dreams of mine.
However the bottom line is, we need to be content. Thank the Lord daily for where he has you now. And thank Him ahead of time for what He will do.
Heaven will come when it comes. No one knows the day or the time. So we need to always be ready. But while we’re waiting, let’s contently live our lives to glorify our Father in Heaven and bask in the light of His mercy and grace. Only in Jesus will we find satisfaction.
