“He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.” (1 John 4:8)

Because it does. 🙂 “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” (Matthew 6:33)

For sure. In fact, the “old-fashioned” way is the best!

“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)

“Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine! O what a foretaste of glory divine! Heir of salvation, purchase of God, born of His spirit, washed in His blood.”

“For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” (Matthew 16:26)

“But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:31)

“Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.” (2 Timothy 3:12)

WOW! What a great way to start the day Sarah! Thanks!!! I listened to your Dad’s sermon you posted the other day too. VERY good. He is clearly committed to a life of devotion and holiness as it came through in his handling of Jesus “true vine” teaching. My calling has me up to my eyeballs in moral and doctrinal apostasy a lot of the time. Seeing joyous spiritually healthy families like yours raising godly children like you is a great encouragement to me. 🙂
